KRISTY'S MINI MENAGERIE

Hello and welcome, anybody who may come across this little blog of mine! I've just started this blog, and plan on focusing on miniatures, animals, and miniature animals. However, I'm also hoping it can be a fun place to talk about just about anything. We'll see.........

New Critters in the Works

Another "sneak peek" at some new little guys that hopefully will be fully furred and available in the next couple days. They aren't completely "naked" - I did give them a light wash of color which is mainly to serve as a guideline for me when I apply their fur. Now, let's see who can guess what the heck kind of animal that little guy on the left is?

This will be a pudgy little guinea pig (which I like to refer to as a "Mini Guinea")

And who knows what this one is? I'll give you a hint: Though it looks sort of like a cross between a rabbit, a possum, and a kangaroo rat, it's not an imaginary animal. It truly does exist, but only found in one country. Do you know the name of this strange little animal?

  1. Well I was going to guess baby kangaroo. That's that idea scuffered.

The first time I made a miniature animal I couldn't imagine how it could end up looking good at all! They aren't so cute naked are they. lol

I wish you would make that baby hedgehog.

  9. Bilby!!!!! :)

I have to confess I click to enlarge the picture and it led me to an error page with your document name :). I then googled Bilby since I know what a guinea is :).

Your animals are such cuties even when nude. And your bilby is every bit like the pictures I saw. Is it going to Australia?

  11. OOOOH, SANS!!! The gig is up now (you little cheater you, LOL )
Yes, it's supposed to be a Bilby, which is found only in certain parts of Australia. Margaret, I'm so glad you guessed it right being from Australia - if you didn't know what it was, I was thinking I may have to call it a fantasy animal, LOL.
