KRISTY'S MINI MENAGERIE

Hello and welcome, anybody who may come across this little blog of mine! I've just started this blog, and plan on focusing on miniatures, animals, and miniature animals. However, I'm also hoping it can be a fun place to talk about just about anything. We'll see.........

WHAT ANIMALS CAN TEACH US

Can't we all just get along?

  1. These are so sweet! I can't pick a favorite! Maybe the monkey and the tiger. Is that a squirrel with the cat?

  3. Oh! How did I miss the leopard/cheetah (which one is it?) and the fawn? It reminds me of the lion and fawn story on Big Cat Diaries where the lioness lost her cub and adopted a lost fawn. It was incredible. And the pig and the tiger are so sweet. I must have been too tired when I looked at them all. You know how I love the big cats!

  4. Carolyn, it's the third one down and it's a bobcat, LOL. The fawn is only 3 days old and the bobcat is 3 weeks old. They were brought to a shelter after being rescued during a wildfire in California.
"The bobcat and fawn would not normally be placed together, due to regulations, but the rescuers had no choice. They snagged the bobcat kitten first, finding it dehydrated and near death. Later, they brought in the fawn and discovered they didn’t have a crate large enough for it. No matter – the kitten ran right over to the fawn, and the two became fast friends."

  5. That's a cheetah and an impala baby. The photographer found a group of cheetahs petting, licking, cuddling and playing with the little impala. Normally the cheetah would consider the impala dinner, but they must have just eaten, so they were tired and not hungry. Eventually the little guy scampered away.

  8. I love the monkey and the tiger cub... I've seen a video on her and she helps take care of the tigers feeding bottles to them and wrestling with them. I've always felt the same way about animals as you do. I've never met an animal I didn't like. I always speak to the animals I see on a daily basis but not always all the people I see...lol
