KRISTY'S MINI MENAGERIE

Hello and welcome, anybody who may come across this little blog of mine! I've just started this blog, and plan on focusing on miniatures, animals, and miniature animals. However, I'm also hoping it can be a fun place to talk about just about anything. We'll see.........

Anybody know of a suitable artist??? Help Please! :)

Hey there guys! I'm hoping somebody out there may be able to help. I had to turn somebody down for a commission who's looking for an artist who can make Beatrix Potter like rabbits for her half-scale Peter Rabbit Tree Stump House. She said she'd even make the little clothes for them herself. My rabbits don't look anything like the Beatrix Potter bunnies unfortunately, but I told her I'd ask around to see if I could find somebody. If anybody knows of an artist that could make these rabbits for her, it would make somebody very happy!!!
Thanks so much everyone!!

  3. Hi Kristy, you can ask Elisabeta Buffatti www.minipottery.it. She has done the most delightfull house inspired by Brambles Hedge. She won Miniaturitalia contest with it. She has done everything and the mouses as well. I guess she could do rabbits if she has time. She will be at Chicago fair next week with her pottery. Go to her site, it's worth looking.Rosanna

  4. Rosanna, thank you!!! Elisabeta's mice are the perfect style I would think!! Amazing. I'll shoot her an e-mail to see if she would be at all interested. Thanks for the help.
I've never had to turn down a commission before, so I just feel bad for this woman.

  6. hello dear hearts! I would be very happy to speak to this lady about some comission work. I love creating miniatures! I create many sizes, from micro minis, to art doll size aprox 7 inches, so a 1:12 scale rabbit would be so much fun! I am actually working on a scale Alice in wonderland now, I just listed her on ebay! Thanks so much, and for becoming a follower of my blog!, now I am going to explore your wonderful space. xoxox Christel

  8. Kristy, there is someone I know of who makes kick ass bunny miniatures. From microscopic carvings, to slightly larger. I'll email you if you don't find anyone else. I commissioned her to make me a carved chinese spoon, and she can make anything you throw at her!

  9. I know who you're talking about - the amazing Linda Masters! Am I right? A Linda Masters carving is definitely on my list of miniatures to own some day!!! She's who I thought of immediately and I mentioned her to this lady, but I guess she's looking for the "clay and fur" type animals. But thank you anyway Kiva. I really appreciate everybody's help!
