KRISTY'S MINI MENAGERIE

Hello and welcome, anybody who may come across this little blog of mine! I've just started this blog, and plan on focusing on miniatures, animals, and miniature animals. However, I'm also hoping it can be a fun place to talk about just about anything. We'll see.........

To "fur" or not to "fur"? Think I already know the answer.

Here's the little boy mouse's sister with her own stuffed toy (donkey, pig, hippo??) Ok, it was supposed to be a hippo, but looks more like a cross between a pig and donkey. Think it was too small and the clay was way to soft from what I'm used to, lol.
I'm really curious to know if anybody out there (other than my mom) actually likes these unfurred critters better than the furred ones. Which do you guys prefer?

  1. Sorry - yes, I like them furry. And I think, the toy looks like a hippo.

  5. Looks like I was right. But that's okay because if these two don't sell, I have something to give my mom for her birthday, hahaha.
By the way, I prefer the furred ones as well. :-P

  9. All of your little creatures are wonderful but I have to admit that like your mum I have a special soft spot for the non-furbies. I think it's because they look like 3D versions of little creatures in one of my favourite childhood books. And the clothes you make for them are so cute too!

That little pink fellow certainly looks like a hippo :)

  10. I think I prefer furry because they remind me so much of my real fur-babies! But I really like the fur-less ones too! Those are great...looks like a Disney movie come to life!

  11. I like both! But I think the fur makes them seem less plastic. Whatever you do is super cute. And yes, I think your hippo looks like a hippo and is adorable!

  13. They are definitely cute all dressed up, but I think they are much cuter with fur! Makes them more cuddly looking :)

  16. I totally love the furred creatures, but have to say that I prefer the clothed ones just because your sculpting of the clothes is just so fabulous and too dang cute! In fact, I kinda want to give this little girl mouse a huge hug! Love the pink hippo too!
