KRISTY'S MINI MENAGERIE

Hello and welcome, anybody who may come across this little blog of mine! I've just started this blog, and plan on focusing on miniatures, animals, and miniature animals. However, I'm also hoping it can be a fun place to talk about just about anything. We'll see.........

The finished "Mousketeer"

Being he's a mouse, I decided his "sword" would be an ordinary household straight pin.  And guess what the hat was?  Oh YESS, major PITA with a capital "P" !!  I even sustained a minor finger injury, but I guess that's not too surprising being the klutz that I am.

  1. He is freakin' adorable! I wish you were having a contest to name him and I would win because I would call him "Artimouse".

  2. Duh, I should have read the last entry comments before I commented here. Working backwards wasn't so smart. And I was thinking the musketeer was named Artimus. How about deleting these entries to save my embarrassment?

  4. I guessed he was in one of those reality shows..."Americans can dance" or whatever there called ....but your fencing mouse is far more charming . I would hate to be the cat on the wrong end of his pin .

I know Catherine, thanks to the all the guesses on the previous post, I now want to make some mice dancing, surfing, playing table tennis, etc. :D
Bridget, I'll have a lot more pictures of the guy on my "For Sale" page when / if I list him, and I usually have at least one with a ruler next to the miniature. This guy measures 1 & 1/8 inch tall (7/8" without the hat, lol).

  15. En garde, beware Cardinal Catchelieu...!!! He's so lovely, and you've done a miracle with the hat, so your minor major finger injury had at least a sense... ;O) But do you remember, there have to be four of them... Aramis, Porthos, Athos und D'Artagnan... (LOL)

    Greetings
