KRISTY'S MINI MENAGERIE

Hello and welcome, anybody who may come across this little blog of mine! I've just started this blog, and plan on focusing on miniatures, animals, and miniature animals. However, I'm also hoping it can be a fun place to talk about just about anything. We'll see.........

Mutt or Purebred?

BEFORE

AFTER

I don't make mini dogs normally and don't think I ever made one that was furred, so this was something new for me. Here's some before the fur and after the fur pics. I had a lot of fun, but this little girl was supposed to be a particular breed, and I think she came out looking more like a mutt of some kind. CAN YOU GUESS WHAT BREED SHE IS? (and for the few of you who already know what kind of dog she's supposed to be, NO HINTS, LOL)

  2. So cute!
I think, she is a young Malteser (hope the english name is the same)or a Malteser with fresh cut hair?

  8. WOW!! You guys did good! Did you cheat?? lol
Those of you who said a Maltese are correct! And I'm glad most guessed right since that was what I was trying to make.
Ira and Ingrid, Westies are quite similar but the main difference is that Westies have pointed ears that stick up and Maltese have little floppy ears that hang down. You see...you learn something new every day. :)

  11. Thanks everyone! You are all the best!!
Yep Carolyn, this time it's a she. I normally refer to my critters as "guys" and "he", etc. I don't know why. In fact I had to edit my post because I did it again, but this time it is supposed to be Eva, Cindy aka snowfern's adorable little maltese. Eva (the real one) is sooooo cute, I didn't come near to capturing the cute expression on her face. Cindy has photos of the real Eva in her Flickr photostream if anybody wants to take a look! :)

yes, Eva doesn't look like a typical Maltese, even though the vet did say she is pure maltese....i love them both (mini and large) just the same!
