KRISTY'S MINI MENAGERIE

Hello and welcome, anybody who may come across this little blog of mine! I've just started this blog, and plan on focusing on miniatures, animals, and miniature animals. However, I'm also hoping it can be a fun place to talk about just about anything. We'll see.........

Bath Time for Kitty

This kitty needed a bath. He's not looking real happy about it however, even though I made him a little rubber ducky to play with. I wanted to play with my epoxy resin and always thought cats are so adorable when they are all wet and miserable. I had to do quite a bit of experimenting before finishing this one as far as figuring a way to make the cat's fur look wet and figuring out how to make the water look soapy. Such messes I made in the process (but such fun too) :) I do wish I had made the cat sculpt skinnier to begin with, but live and learn.

  7. LOL, thanks you guys! Ingrid, you're right, it's not really needed hahaha, cats usually don't need to have an actual bath unless they get really filthy. They do a good job at grooming themselves. I try not to put my kitties through such torture - though an occasional kitty wet wipe is necessary.

  17. I'd love to have it, BUT our cats are strictly against it. They think I could get crazy ideas. So I'll wait for more racoons.... Puck and Abernathy are toooooooo cute!
