An Itty Bitty Teeny Tiny Duck

Why do I do this to myself?  My "comfort zone" is between 3/4 inch to 1& 1/4 inch.  But I personally LOVE the really tiny little miniatures, so I guess that's why I torture myself trying to make them.  I almost gave up on this little one several times, but he kept quacking at me to please finish him, LOL.  And being the Easter season, I had to make him a little Easter treat, a chocolate egg (well half of one, lol), filled with jelly beans.
Taking a decent picture is even harder, which I did finally give up on.  So here are the crappy pictures of my finally finished PITA duckling.

    So sweeeeeeeet! I love this tiny duck! A lot of work yes but the result is really really worth it!

    Absolutamente asombroso!!!
    No se como puedes hacer esas pequeñas niniaturas y que se vea con tanto detalles, no podia haberte quedado mas real.
    Comprendo lo dificil de hacer la fotografia, pero vale la pena es genial para Pascua con esos caramelos de goma en el huevo.

    Oh WONDERFUL. He is worth every P you've had in your A. But I hope you'll recover soon. Otherwise you have to fiddle with your critters standing! And I don't want to think about the P you'll get then.... Mini hugs Andrea

    What you perhaps didn't know about me - I like cartoons and am a big fan of Carl Barks, known as "The Good Artist" among Donald Duck fans for a long time. He explained his success not with being a good story teller or so but with a simple statement: "Everybody loves ducks." Well, let me transform this a little bit into "I love your duck." ;O)

    I'm SO glad you didn't give up on your little PITA Duckling!! He's Adorable.... and I love his sailor hat.... and his half an egg full of jelly beans! You are amazing, Kristy!

    That is the cutest think I have EVER seen! I love his hat. LOL

    BTW... Have you tried that pre-cut flock? Martha Steward has some I really like. I am going to try to use it on a animal soon.

    OMG! He's adorable. I don't know how you do it either! I've tried 1:12 scale and it's too tiny for me. I can't imagine smaller.

    Catherine, pre-cut flock?? Sounds like a dream come true, LOL. Cutting flocking is soooooo incredibly time consuming (and boring too). The only thing is, I would need to make sure I had the exact color "fur" to match. If you try it, let me know. :)
