HOLY COW!!!!!!!!!! LOOK WHAT I GOT!!!!!!

For those of you who don't know who Kiva Atkinson is, and I kind of get the feeling that would, lol, her and I did a little swap. I was absolutely speechless when I opened Kiva's package today (well not completely speechless, but I'm not repeating what came out of my mouth, lol).
I can not get over how incredibly realistic her miniature food looks! I've always been in awe looking at the photos of them, and I seriously didn't think they could look much better in person but OMG they REALLY do!!!!! These pictures I took are just horrible, and don't do them justice. But unless you already own one of Kiva's miniatures, you're just going to have to take my word for it. This chick is an extremely gifted artist. She's also a sweetheart and a good friend! She made me way more than what I deserved. Thank you buddy!!!!!

I don't think they're hideous at all, I think they're adorable. I've even named them. Meet Seymour and Herman.

That's Seymour that I'm petting. :)

  1. Fab!! Kiva's work is quirky and absolutely amazing - I have some of her mushrooms and veges, and they are treasured!
Love the fishies - they're so ugly you gotta love 'em! :)

  2. Awww KRISTY!!!!!!! I absolutely loved making those for you, too!! You are such a doll and a true sistah!! But what I received from YOU, I will ALWAYS treasure...and so will Lance ;-)!!

Glenda, you are such a doll too!!! And hello....talented much?? I covet your books and hanging potion bottles :-O!!

  3. Wonderful pieces from Kiva, Seymour and Herman are amazing! The kind of creatures nightmares are made of, and two very good reasons to keep out of the ocean ;)

  4. Enhorabuena por tener estos trabajos de Kiva. Ella trabaja la comida muy bien, consigue unos colores y una textura muy realista. Me encantan.
    Besos Clara

  5. Kristy, the names for Fish, Seymour and Herman made me Laugh. Kiva's work is

  6. How wonderful! Kiva's work is always perfectly beautiful!!! I know you will treasure those little pieces. As for Seymour and Herman being adorable... I wouldn't get too close. LOL

  7. I love Kiva's food! And these fish are just superb! The names are too LOL Lucky you to have them! :D

  8. Oh, I will sooo treasure them. I put them in my little cabinet with the glass door where I keep all my mini treasures, but I keep pulling hers out to look at them again, lol. I kind of feel sad for poor Seymour and Herman though, lying there on that board with crushed ice. At least they have each other, lol.

  9. I have some of her fabulous work on the way to me as we speak! I love all looks soooo real! :o)))

Your mini's are just as fab!

    Michelle xx

  10. Hehe, Kiva's roast looks so succulent, and I love Seymour and Herman, though I think you should keep them away from your smaller critters, they look pretty dangerous.

  11. Thanks guys!!! But those ghastly fish next to Kristy's sweet critters.....oy!!!

  12. I think her roast beef is truly the best! I want to go out and gobble up some unhealthy things every time I see her food.

Seymour looks like he's purring , Kristy! And Herman is not happy ! SCARRRRRRRRYYYYY! :)
