Wow, it feels like forever since I visited blogland but it hasn't even been two weeks (eeek, I think I may be a blog addict). Well one big Holiday down and one to go, and I don't know about you guys but I am sooooo not ready for Christmas this year! I can't believe another year has already passed.
I just finished this little squeaker. I made several walnut shells in different sizes because there really is an unlimited use for them when it comes to mice. They can be used for a bed, a sled, a boat, a motorcycle side car, lol...to name just a few.
Uiiih, Kristy! He is sooooo cute!!!!! I'd like to tickle the sole of his feet (I think he is a little bit ticklish and would giggle...)
ReplyDeleteAnd I feel exactly like you on behalf of christmas. I'm NOT ready!!! Have a wonderful sunday Andrea
Oooooh he's cute! I love his sled and bright red scarf. I haven't see you use that color on a mouse before I like it!!!
ReplyDeleteI went looking for bamboo yarn here for you. No one has any. I was shocked because the needle shops are all carrying bamboo embroidery threads. I also called the knit shops in town. ???
Ok, it's official.......This is my FAVE!!!!!! How cute is he in his little sleigh! Love it!!! =D
ReplyDeleteI loooooove that little guy! Adorable! He can go sledding with me any day. Well, if I am ever back in the snow, that is. Do you think he would like sledding down small sand dunes?!?!
ReplyDeleteAAAwwwwww, Kristy! You've done it again! He's SO cute! I love him! Please don't stop! We missed you and your little guys!
ReplyDeleteLovely as always! And he looks like he knows how to have fun!

It's funny to read that some have picked this cutie in their comments as their favorite... well, I could never be able to pick a No. 1 out of your critters - whatever you do, have done or will do - I love it... ;O) This little guy would have a lot of fun these days around here in the very northern part of Germany - I'm shoveling snow the whole day long *sigh*

ReplyDeleteVictoria
Thanks so much Cate, Ewa, Tabs, Victoria!!!
ReplyDeleteTabitha, I think my inspiration comes a lot from all of you other miniaturists. That and maybe all the cartoons I watched when I was young, lol. I've got an enormous ever-growing list that I keep whenever an idea comes to mind. It's going to take forever and a day to finish making everything on that list so it makes me happy to hear you tell me to keep doing this, LOL.
Good to see you back in blogland, I missed you.
ReplyDeleteOh,I love that sweet little guy, sitting in his walnut shell. His feed`s are sooooooo cute...lol...and he is looking like he has a lot of fun in the snow ((-:

Oh wow, I really like all your little creations, but this one is by far my most favorite and I will tell you why:
ReplyDeleteMy father Allways used to sing a song to me when I was little and we went for walks in the forrest. It was about a little mouse that found a nutshell and build himself a bike to ride down the hill.
It is a very precious memory and when I saw this little fellow going done the hill in his nut it all came back to me;-)
Wonderfull!
Kind regards,
Marieke
