Another "sneak peek" at some new little guys that hopefully will be fully furred and available in the next couple days. They aren't completely "naked" - I did give them a light wash of color which is mainly to serve as a guideline for me when I apply their fur. Now, let's see who can guess what the heck kind of animal that little guy on the left is?
This will be a pudgy little guinea pig (which I like to refer to as a "Mini Guinea")
And who knows what this one is? I'll give you a hint: Though it looks sort of like a cross between a rabbit, a possum, and a kangaroo rat, it's not an imaginary animal. It truly does exist, but only found in one country. Do you know the name of this strange little animal?

ReplyDeleteThe first time I made a miniature animal I couldn't imagine how it could end up looking good at all! They aren't so cute naked are they. lol
I wish you would make that baby hedgehog.
Kristy it looks like an Australian Bilby to me, am I right?
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking it may be a quokka from Rottnest Island off Western Australia?

I'm not telling yet....LOL.
ReplyDeleteKangaroo rat! I think?
ReplyDeleteFirst thought like Catherine a baby cangaroo - probably not but it is so sweet naked anyway :D So is the guinea pig! Can't wait untill you say what it is and furry animals Kristy!:)
ReplyDeleteOh haha you said it wasn't a kangaroo rat. Guess I missed that part... I dunno then. But I do know it's going to be adorable when you finish it :P
ReplyDeleteOh! Oh! I know what it is! Its a Jerboa! Sorry for all the comments. I got excited :P

ReplyDeleteI have to confess I click to enlarge the picture and it led me to an error page with your document name :). I then googled Bilby since I know what a guinea is :).
Your animals are such cuties even when nude. And your bilby is every bit like the pictures I saw. Is it going to Australia?

OOOOH, SANS!!! The gig is up now (you little cheater you, LOL )
ReplyDeleteYes, it's supposed to be a Bilby, which is found only in certain parts of Australia. Margaret, I'm so glad you guessed it right being from Australia - if you didn't know what it was, I was thinking I may have to call it a fantasy animal, LOL.
But, but I was honest !:).I think I deserve a pat on my shoulder for being an honest cheater :). hehe
