Hello and welcome, anybody who may come across this little blog of mine! I've just started this blog, and plan on focusing on miniatures, animals, and miniature animals. However, I'm also hoping it can be a fun place to talk about just about anything. We'll see.........

Finished furring (phew!) Mini Guinea and BILBY!

Here's the Guinea Pig..........









And here's the Bilby - YES, it's a Bilby (at least that's what I was shooting for, lol).

    In german a bilby is called "Kaninchennasenbeutler" - what an awful name. I love Bilby!

    Thank you Andrea!!! Yep, I gotta put them in my shop or in CDHM but I'll have to wait until tomorrow - It's almost 1am and I'm about ready to crash for the night.
    I like the name Bilby better too - I would never be able to spell or pronounce that German name, LOL.

    Blogging builds knowledge... "Kaninchennasenbeutler" - wow! As a native speaker I can pronounce that easily, but bilby sounds so much better. I love the English language - and I love your newest ones. Hope we'll see more of your critters soon, keep yourself busy. It's always fun to visit your blog.

    He's definitely a Bilby :)) Oh, I love him! And the piggy too, he's rather more handsome than my two piggies - Kevin and Cheryl (both gentlemen pigs but that's another story)

    I thought he was a Bilby and looks so cute furred. In Australia he has become the Aussie emblem for Easter, replacing the Easter Bunny!

    These guys are sooo adorable! I often wonder how you can part with them. I keep looking at my hedgehog (who really does need a name) and marveling at the tiny-ness of him and how well he is made.

    I am in love with the Bilby! Is is so darned cute, and that tail is great! It looks like a feather duster. I wonder, are they clean animals? LOL!

    I would name a pet Bilby. In the US it would be like naming your dog, "Dog", but most of us haven't ever heard of a Bilby!

    Soooooooooo cute Kristy!!! They are so tiny, I don't know how you do it. I love the mini-guinea. He has the cutest expression on his face.

    No wonder I couldn't guess! I have never heard of a Bilby before.

    I will call my Bilby Bilby too! Can you imagine we call our budget airport, Budget Terminal? LOL so names are also not our strength.

    I have to find an unusual animal for you to make for my British India , Kristy. Your Bilby is so so so so so (to the power of 100)cute. Are they really that cute or is it you? :) That tail! OMG. precious!

    WOW!! Thank you so much everyone - once again, you have all totally made my day! I was so exhausted last night when I finally finished these two and took photos that I went to bed shortly after. But it's so nice to wake up and read your comments in the morning, especially when they are so nice.

    Margaret, that's so funny that Australia's "Easter Bunny" has been replaced by the Bilby! I had read that when I was looking for reference photos of the Bilby.

    Sans, LOL - they are soooo cute in real life, just google some images for it and you'll see.

    Carolyn, a tail feather duster, LMAO. Well it's better than what Craig (my hubby) said - that it looks like a Q-tip. I tend to exaggerate certain features - his big hind feet and long tufted tail in this case.

    Such a big difference from naked to furred, isn't it? It's even a surprise to me sometimes.

    Tabitha, thank you so much! Nothing makes me feel happier than knowing an owner of one of my animals is happy with them.

    LOL Susan! I love your names for your piggies - Cheryl and Kevin (both boys). Like my two cats - Otis and Scout (both girls), and that is another story as well. This guinea pig is a chubby one, LOL. He's not starving, that's for sure.

    Must have coffee and then I'm going to try to catch up on all of your blogs. Been neglecting them these last few days while trying to finish some critters to sell before the end of the month and going out of town.

    Kristy, I love to read your "book"! What a pity - I had so much work today and when I looked into your shop for the little guy with this great hairstyle (Elvis would be proud of it...) I saw he's already gone. Okay, okay - I'm patient. I'm sure one of your critters will come to me some day.

    Heheh! There was a Daryl as well. Kevin fell deeply in love with Daryl who didn't return the feelings. Cheryl then became viciously jealous of Daryl and blood was spilled in the name of love. Daryl was relieved to be relocated to a much more peaceful home and Cheryl and Kevin signed a truce.

    Do guinea pigs and cats get along? If so, I wonder if I could squeeze one more little guy in our crowded tiny apartment, LOL. They are soooooo damn cute!

    Heheh, I love naming animals 'proper' names. Much as I love guinea pigs, they're not the sharpest tool in the box so if your cat isn't prone to eating rodents I'm sure the guinea pig would get used to a cat. My dogs like getting into the guinea pig house and there aren't any major problems but the piggies are a bit defensive about it.
