Hello and welcome, anybody who may come across this little blog of mine! I've just started this blog, and plan on focusing on miniatures, animals, and miniature animals. However, I'm also hoping it can be a fun place to talk about just about anything. We'll see.........

No longer a secret, sew here it is

I couldn't show off this one until now, since it was a surprise gift from the very talented and generous Sans to the very talented and sweet Rosanna. Sans wanted to give Rosanna the little tailor mouse that's on Rosanna's name card, which I thought was such a good idea. I had to get it done quickly so that it would reach Singapore in time before Rosanna left for Italy, and I'm so relieved it made it there on time and safely. But most of all, I'm ecstatic that they liked it. I'm always nervous about that, lol.

    Thank you everyone. Sans and Rosanna both sent me the nicest e-mails saying they liked the little guy (hope they weren't just being nice, lol).
    When Susan e-mailed me a picture of Rosanna's card, I was pretty nervous because I know my animals never look like Beatrix Potter's, even if I want them to. They always come out looking like...well like a Kristy critter I guess, lol. But I figured with the accessories I could at least make it look similar. I'm just so thrilled they both liked it! Yippee!!!

    I think it does look like the mouse on the card Kristy. It's perfect, right down to the color of the thread on the spool.

    Oooooh, I am sooo late :). Kristy, I wach Beatrix Potter and no, I have never held one of her creatures in my hand but I have held yours :) I swear by yours. ANYDAY, ANYTIME!

    And let me tell you again how perfect Ms Tailor is. Rosanna could not wait to show it off to everyone . Faiz, MarG, Walter, Cindy, Asuka, even Kristel, my little elf who did my little cranes :).

    You have a gift that can bring so much cheer to anyone. And for thinking that we could be singing your praises only out of being nice,here's a bloody kick in your butt ! :):):).

    I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE IT. And it was so good that you said yes because seriously, I can't think of anyone else who could do this so fast and I was just so absolutely sure you could make Rosanna very happy!

    Tailor is so versatile, Rosanna thinks she will be good at the display window of her spectacle shop too! :) Or tea shop if you put a cup of tea next to it..LOL

    And Sans, your enthusiasm over the little guy totally made my day (hell, it made my whole year, lol). Nothing makes me happier than knowing I've made somebody happy just by making something I love to make -does that sound hokey? lol Kind of does, but it's true. I'm curious to know what name Rosanna will come up with for the little guy.
    Christel, I'll send you an e-mail soon! I think I've already forgotten how I made that Big Wheel (I really need to start taking notes, lol).
